Accessing the Report:

You can find this report in the Purchases area by clicking on the green NavBar Purchase title at the top of the page and selecting the report.

1. Alternative Lower Priced Products to Reduce Costs and Increase Profit:

Throughout the month, if an item could have been purchased at a lower cost, the report calculates the potential saving. The categories display the total of all related saving transactions, with the total saving value shown in the right column.

Clicking on the category name or the right-side column amount reveals a second report listing items where savings are possible. This report presents options for buying alternative brands, the same brands from different suppliers, or opting for a different pack size.

2. Higher NHS Reimbursable Rate for Increased Profit:

If any NHS Reimbursable item purchased in a month could have been procured at a higher reimbursement rate, or if an alternative reimbursable item exists for a non-reimbursable purchase, the potential increased income is calculated and displayed in the NHS Claimables Income line.

Similar to the alternative lower-priced product options, clicking on the category description or the right column amount unveils a second report detailing how this potential additional income might be generated.
