The access settings that control who has an online account and what they can access are managed by your Primary Account Holder (PAH). This is typically the Practice or Business Manager or Partner.

Your PAH first needs to open the My Users section of the My Account area, located in the top right corner of any page. Click on the My Users link to open the My Users section.

The My Users section displays all users with access to your account. To view and change a user’s settings you need to click on their Account name, found in the first column on the left.  To add a new user click on the + Add New User button, at the top of the table.

This will then display their account settings area.

On the left side you will see a list of the various modules that a user can access such as Purchases, Inventory and Assets. Their general access settings are also listed on the left, found in User Account Details.

To activate access to, for example inventory, you will need to click on the Purchases link on the left of your page. Once clicked you will see various options on the right. Check that the Enable Inventory option is checked.

There is also a setting called Allow Inventory Settings. This lets a user add and remove items from stock, as well as to manage and change other features such as stock codes, reorder levels and notifications. Once inventory is setup you may not wish to let everyone make such changes, in which case this option should not be checked.

The Remote Manager App is also important for providing remote access to the Inventory area. We discuss the use of this app later in the Inventory manuals. By default, all users should have this activated. You can check that your Inventory User has the Express Access link active (and appearing in the top right corner of their pages). The Express Access setting is found on the right side at the bottom of their User Account Details page:
