Good purchase management is not just about getting competitive prices, but also the effective management of stock and stock levels. Being able to quickly locate stock, having enough to meet daily needs, and avoid overstocking, are all vitally important for the smooth running of an organisation.

The Real-Time Inventory Module is a live and interactive system that can be managed through your online account or with your Surgery Network app which works on any browser-enabled tablet or smartphone.
There are two versions - a standard version suitable for most single location members, and an advanced version for larger multisite members.
Standard features include:
- Ability to carry out stock counts, with the Stock app allowing for remote stock count checking, verification and update of stock levels.
- Automatic valuation of stock at a specified date and time (such as year-end) with valuation at cost or replacement value.
- Ability to record stock as it is used with QR codes or regular mini stock counts.
- A real-time stock register that gives levels and locations, accessed through your mobile App or online account - a single click opens up the full history of transactions including suppliers, brands and usage details and users.

Advanced features include:
- Ability to manage stock across multiple locations, with or without a central store.
- Integration to the Hub managed purchasing facility.
- Features such as low and restock level indicators appearing in the purchasing order catalogues
- Usage reports including proforma FP34 reports for medical users.
